I cannot recommend Waxflower Bridal and Kathy enough! As someone who got engaged during lock down, and with only a short period of time to arrange our wedding, finding a dream dress was high on my 'to do' list. I was a bit apprehensive about trying on dresses as all the covid-19 chocolate has made me a little bit self conscious, and the time pressure of finding a dream dress with 5 months to go to the wedding really piled on the pressure.
Kathy could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Even while the shop was shut due to lock down, we communicated regularly, with lots of ideas and suggestions before my appointment, and absolutely buckets full of enthusiasm and reassurance.
When I finally came to the shop, I was really stunned by what a gem of a place it is! The dresses on offer a a fab blend of traditional and quirky. There is a whole large, private, airy room to try on dresses, with lots of gorgeous accessories to play with. Kathy was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the gorgeous dresses in store, and even suggested blending elements of 2 dresses I loved to provide me with a custom bespoke gown, all within tight deadlines.
I came away buzzing from my appointment , a million miles from the stressed bride I was when I walked in. I will be raving about Waxflower and Kathy to any bride I meet!

I would not hesitate in recommending Waxflower Bridal to others, not just because of the most stunning collection of dresses but you will also have the pleasure of dealing with the lovely personable and highly knowledgeable Kathy, and experience her lovely sumptuous bridal room. My daughter Holly had really made her mind up the first time we met Kathy with a selection of her dresses at a Wedding Fayre. We visited her beautiful bridal shop in Chepstow and never needed to go anywhere else! The whole experience was one I will never forget. I think by the time of the Wedding we felt that Kathy had become our lifelong friend :). Even with all the distancing restrictions etc of 2020 Kathy dealt with everything so safely and professionally and this did not detract in anyway from the joy for Holly of choosing and purchasing that most important dress! Thank you Kathy for a superb unique service, and of course as a very biased mother of the bride, my daughter could not have looked more breathtakingly beautiful than she did in her Waxflower gown.

I visited several bridal boutiques, but none compared to the gorgeously styled, Waxflower. Not only is the boutique designed to perfection, Kathy is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and provided the best service to my mother in law and I.

Ordering the bespoke veil was straightforward and delivery was prompt. Due to the service Kathy provided, I am also getting my wedding dress altered here, as I know the dress will be in good hands. I 100% recommend to all up-coming brides.

We travelled up from London, everything about it was just perfect. . . the boutique is spacious, the dressing room is dreamy and the range of bridal wear they have available is so unique and beautiful.
